A key feature of Freemelt’s unique machine design is its innovative recoater system. In all Freemelt machine models, the recoater is placed in a separate vacuum enclosure, safely protected behind a shutter.

This smart design protects the recoater from heat, metal vapor, and electron radiation. Additionally, it ensures durability since it’s not exposed to the process conditions and can easily be accessed and serviced, enhancing both user-friendliness and workplace safety.
