Freemelt organizes for rapid global growth

Freemelt – listed on Nasdaq First North – continues its rapid development as a leading supplier of powerful 3D printers. As part of this, the company is building a regional sales and service organization, which means that Freemelt will appoint regional presidents for its three regions: North America, EMEA and APAC.

Eric Bert has been hired as regional president for the North American operations. He has more than 35 years of disruptive technology management experience including 15 years in senior commercial leadership roles in AM companies. He most recently served as Senior Vice President – Commercial at Inkbit.

”In line with Freemelt’s commercialization and industrialization journey to become a global dominant player in additive manufacturing, Freemelt will gradually further empower its sales and service operation and get closer to its customers to achieve quicker business decisions, adapt to local requirements and demands and to provide a best-in-class service”, says Daniel Gidlund, CEO of Freemelt.

Freemelt is in the process of recruiting regional presidents, where EMEA is first up followed by APAC. The regional presidents will report to the CEO of Freemelt and take a seat in Freemelt’s executive team. In connection with this reorganization, Peter Jain, Chief Sales Officer, has chosen to leave the company.
